Updated Red/Blue Map

This is where I see the race as it stands today. The Republican convention has just finished but we have had very little polling done since the Democratic convention last week. That’s not much to go on so this is pretty much gut instinct, a little pollster.com composites, and maybe even a little Blue Kool-Aid talking here.

Indiana is close but if the election were today, I’d have to give it to McCain.

The Pollster.com composites still show Obama in a strong position in electoral votes. If you went to their website, they break it down further into strong and lean categories for each candidate. Obama leads McCain in the strong category 231-112. Throw in leaning states and it is 260-176. It takes 270 to win.

But we still have a ways to go.
